Key Essential Oils for Sleep

Good sleep is vital for overall well-being.  A good night’s sleep helps decrease stress, aids in weight loss, improves memory, detoxification and allows organs to regenerate, etc.  Aromatherapy is a very effective sleep remedy — diffusing essential oils in the bedroom plus applying EOs to your skin is comforting and like calm balm for the entire body. Give the below favorites a try:

  • Diffuse doTERRA therapeutic grade essential oils – my favorite diffuser blend is Lavender and Lemon EucalpytusBreathe blend is very nice too!
  • My favorite doTERRA EO protocol to topically apply – Balance, Serenity, Frankincense, Vetiver, Copaiba, Cedarwood, Lavender – put on bottom of feet (specifically the arch of the foot) or wrist pulse points
  • If you like to dabble in blending your own essential oils, here’s a great one to try (use a glass roller bottle):
    15 drops Lavender, 10 drops Vetiver, 8 drops Chamomile, 5 drops Frankincense, 5 drops Ylang Ylang, 5 drops Wild Orange with Fractionated Coconut Oil – shake to blend & apply on arch of foot or wrist pulse points
